Upper Tooting is just 1.2 miles away and travel from Tooting railway station to the nursery takes from only 5 minutes (1.3 miles) by car for the morning session, 27 minutes on foot or from just 16-22 minutes by bus (G1, 333, 355, 249 routes). Alternatively, take the 249 bus and it’ll take from just 10 minutes or so before you arrive at the nursery for the morning session. You can even take the Northern Line tube from Balham to Tooting Bec station and then hop on the 319 bus. That’ll take just 14 minutes or so.
